The Brasil Kyudo Renmei (formely Brasil Kyudo Kai - BKK) is a growing association with something around 100 members. Founded in 2008, in Rio de Janeiro, it aims to spread IKYF kyudo by helping other kyudo groups across the country to establish themselves. In 2011, its first formal delegation attended to an AKR/IKYF Seminar. In 2014, Igor Prata won the second place in the 2nd Kyudo World Cup (Paris), at 0-3 dan individual category. In the end of 2023, the country was accepted as a member of IKYF and was able to participated of the national teams’ competition at the 4th Kyudo World Cup (Nagoya). To mark this new era, at annual board meeting it was decided to change the association name to Brasil Kyudo Renmei. As of 2024, there are six settled groups practicing in Brazil: Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia-DF, Sao Paulo, Curitiba, Salvador and Ponta Grossa (Parana). There are also groups in formation in other cities, like Florianopolis, Porto Alegre and Itajai.

Activities to promote Kyudo 1. Regularly supports new groups to stablish thenselves.
2. Annually hosts a national seminar, tentatively with a guest shogo sensei.
3. Currently, mentor kyudo groups from South America and Panama.
